Derrick Washington, ArtStream’s Executive Director, has tendered his resignation from ArtStream.
Derrick expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead ArtStream these past 6 months, and hopes to remain a part of ArtStream’s community. We are grateful for his service to ArtStream and wish him well in his future endeavors.
We are happy to tell you that Patti Woolsey, ArtStream’s Founder/Director will take over as ArtStream’s Interim Executive Artistic Director.
As many of you already know, Patti has been working closely with Nicolette Stearns since Derrick came aboard in July 2023, to support him as he assumed the position of Executive Director.
Patti is delighted to be able to step in to lead ArtStream again, and is jazzed by the opportunity to support, inspire, enrich, and expand our ArtStream community—Streamers, Teaching Artists, and families alike—through ArtStream’s classes, cabarets, and theatre companies.
We, ArtStream’s Board, are delighted to welcome Patti back at this pivotal moment.
We are confident she will manage this transition seamlessly and propel ArtStream forward.
We hope you will welcome her as warmly as we do and look forward to seeing you all Perform your Art Out!
