Lorraine Tracton

Lorraine Tracton traces her love of costume design all the way back to her childhood, making Halloween costumes from whatever was at hand. She thanks her Mom for teaching her to sew. She went on to create costumes for high school and then college productions, and has continued to design and build costumes for local community and professional theatre companies. Lorraine still enjoys the challenge of creating costumes from what is at hand, to help actors bring their characters to life. It has been especially gratifying, not to mention fun, to re-use items from ArtStream’s costume stock (with the enthusiastic help of Sarah Sandifer) and thrift-store/re-sale finds, to dress the Rainbow Warrior characters. “Reuse, repurpose, and recycle as much as you possibly can.”
