We are proud to announce that ArtStream is a winner of The Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation’s 2023 Local Impact Grants Challenge. The Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation is granting nearly $2.5 million this year to non-profits that are strengthening our communities.

NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants is a competitive grant challenge in partnership with the eleven NBC and Telemundo-owned stations. In 2023, Local Impact Grants will award nearly $2.5 million to nonprofit organizations in 11 NBC and Telemundo-owned television station markets that are tackling everyday problems in their local communities. The Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation is committed to supporting the interests and needs of our diverse communities.

By winning this competitive grant, we hope to continue strengthening our community. Grant programs like this help us achieve our mission to provide performing arts opportunities to adults with IDDs by driving our local communities forward and fostering a culture of equity and inclusion. With this newly won grant, ArtStream will be able to continue ensuring that everyone has a role to play.

We will use the funding to expand programming and offer more scholarship opportunities. This grant is more than an award to our program – it is a celebration of our mission, and we are very happy to share this exciting opportunity for growth.
