CHEVY CHASE, Md. (ABC7) — ArtStream teaches live theatre and music to more than 1,200 students with disabilities every year, helping with self-confidence, social skills and much more.

But it’s their big performances on stage that ArtStream is known for and that co-founder and teacher Emilia O’Connor is the most proud of.

“We want to give people a chance to really express themselves and use that to be able to build their own confidence,” she says.
