Kate Fairhurst

Kate Fairhurst calls herself a nomad, having moved 12 times, but she has lived in Montgomery County longer than anywhere else. This is Kate’s first experience with ArtStream, immediately jumping into the deep end of the pool. She has previously performed at numerous Regional theatres in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. She founded Theatre 7 where she directed, acted, choreographed, and taught children’s acting classes. Kate is also the founder and owner of Mindful Well-being, Inc. It specializes in teaching meditation and yoga to limited mobility and memory care for residents in assisted living residences. She is a regular patron and volunteer for the arts, museums, theatres, opera, dance. Kate enjoys learning to cook new cuisines such as Persian and Indian. “Fair thoughts and kind deeds attend thee.”
