Carolyn Ricks

Carolyn Ricks is an educator, violinist, singer, and theater enthusiast from Alexandria, VA. She holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts with a minor in Jazz Studies from McDaniel College and an M.Ed. in Special Education from George Mason University. A former Special Education teacher with FCPS, she is currently an Developmental Specialist with the Infant & Toddler Connection of Fairfax-Falls Church. 

Carolyn has stretched her acting wings on  the community theater scene with The Arlington Players (Curtains!), Chalice Theatre (The Addams Family), and fiddled around in the pit (Sweeney Todd, Evita) for St. Marks Players. In previous years, Carolyn worked with ArtStream, Inc. as a performer/mentor (Idle Playthings, A Vegas Way) and stage manager (Tale of Two Zip Codes), before directing then Arlington A’s performances of Out of Monet  and Must Love MusicShe is excited to “return to her roots” being onstage with the Alexandria Inclusive Company for this year’s performances.
