Musical Theatre at GMU – Fall Semester 2019 (WAIT-LIST ONLY)

An event every week that begins at 4:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until December 5, 2019

This class is currently wait-list only. If a space becomes available in the class, participants will be contacted based on order of registration.

Learn the music and the moves to your favorite productions! The final class will be a sharing for family and friends.

Tuition: $525 for 14 weeks

  • Moving in character
  • Brainstorming ideas
  • Background research
  • Making choices

Who should register?

This class is designed for adults (18+) with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) — including autism. Participants should be able to function in groups of up to 30 people with 1:4 staffing; independently meet self-care needs; follow directions; and demonstrate respectful, safe behavior at all times.


Are classrooms accessible?

All classes are held at locations easy to access by bus, metro, or MetroAccess. Venues are selected to accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility equipment.


What if I cannot afford tuition?

ArtStream services are eligible for LISS and respite funding and ArtStream students are eligible to pay in installments or receive tuition assistance. Check your preferred payment option when you register and the office will follow up to confirm.
