Song of the Rainbow Warrior
A world without color. Grays and whites are all the Factory Workers have ever known. Legend has it that once upon a time, the world was filled with colors. Once there was blue, ocean blue they say. Once there was green, forest green they say. Yellow as the sun. Red as roses true. Could it be real? Was there ever else but grey?
A mysterious guide sends colorful dreams to the Factory Workers, full of color and hope. The dreams show us that the world used to be colorful, and we destroyed with the Dragon (which is a metaphor for climate change). The Factory Workers have to try again to bring color back to world by planting a flower. We learn that we are all the Rainbow Warrior and we all have the power to change the world.
Ships Ahoy! Scallywags Unite!
A motley crew of pirates and pirettes are shipwrecked on the shore of a deserted island! Or so they think it’s deserted… They meet the legendary pirates of old and magical pixies who, through daring swordfights, spontaneous dancing, and coconuts, help them rebuild their ship and find the true treasure: friendship.
What are Inclusive Theatre Companies?
In Inclusive Theatre Companies actors develop and perform an original musical. The company votes on a theme, creates original characters, and improvises scenes. Those scenes are scripted to become an original, one-act musical. Each performance presents two of these musicals in a double-bill.
ArtStream performances feature adult actors with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) — including autism — and other social and behavioral needs. Actors, volunteer mentors, and theatre professionals works as a team to create original performances for live audiences.
