Cartoon of six people wearing a face mask. Text reads "Mask Update"
Thank you for helping us all stay safe as we returned to in-person Theatre and Cabaret company rehearsals starting February 10, 2022 and in-person Super Social Saturdays on March 5th, 2022.
ArtStream will continue to require masks through June 30, 2022. We will continue to require that proof of full vaccination on file (at least 2 weeks past your second dose), and you must wear a mask and social distance. We recommend a high filtration mask such as an N95 or KN95 mask instead of a cloth mask. These are generally available for free at libraries, drug stores, and county facilities.
We will be offering a choice of virtual and in-person classes this spring. You may sign up for classes on our website. Please note: any six or eight-week registration classes that begin before June 30th will remain in masks until the completion of the session.
The in-person Super Social Saturday sessions at the MainStreet Apartments building in Rockville, MD will continue, with the next one on April 9, 2022. We plan to add a monthly Virginia Super Social Saturday at Service Source in Oakton, VA starting June 4, 2022.
Check out our new classes, Take Five intensives, and workshops, including Creative Writing and Story Telling, Improvisation, Stories through Movement, Take Five: Dance, and Creating Characters. Later in the summer you will see Mime, Shakespeare, Stage Combat, and more.
We look forward to seeing you at the Alexandria Theatre Company performances onstage at Synetic Theatre in Arlington March 31- April 2, 2022. You will see a performance in person onstage and a movie from the virtual company at each showing. The video premiere is April 14, 2022. Audience members are required to be fully vaccinated and masked. Tickets are on sale at here. Free tickets are available for ArtStreamers and students ages 16-26.
Thank you for being flexible as we navigate through the pandemic challenges. We look forward to being onstage, in class, and online with you this year!
