Sarah Kendrick

Sarah Kendrick is an artist and designer. A native of Washington, DC, she has lived, worked, and played in the area for most of her life. She is now a freelance costume designer in the area.

Sarah is usually found working on costumes, but can sometimes be found designing or painting sets, directing the occasional show, and even more rarely she can be seen onstage. She is a former member of the Maryland Army National Guard. While deployed to Kosovo in 2004, she directed and designed the very first soldier produced and performed production ever, "A Charlie Brown Christmas."

Sarah's favorite costume work includes Guillermo Gomez-Pena's original piece "Corpo-Illicito/ The Post-Human Society 6.9" at UCD, "Women and Wallace" at PGCC, "The Seagull" at UCD, "The Philadelphia Story" at Laurel Mill Playhouse, "The Importance of Being Earnest" at Prince George's Little Theatre, and the food performance event "A Matter of Taste" at UCD.

Sarah Kendrick holds a Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design from UC Davis. and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts from UMBC.

Sarah lives in MD with her husband Adam and their two cats, Lolly and Bella.
