Rachel Dempsey
Rachel Dempsey holds a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in Drama and English. In New York, she studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and the Playwrights Horizons Theatre School. She also spent six months in Florence, Italy studying opera and comparative literature.
For the past eight years, Ms. Dempsey has worked as an artist educator, director and playwright for theatre organizations across the DC metro area, including Studio Theatre, Mount Vernon Children’s Community Theatre, Imagination Stage and Imagination Quest. She also volunteers as a music and drama director at the National Presbyterian Church.
Rachel recently earned a Master’s in Journalism from Georgetown University and looks forward to integrating her new videography skills into her work with Art Stream and VF Dance.
