Here are the amazing actors, directors, designers, and volunteer mentors who perform on ArtStream stages.

Cabaret Company

Annetta Dexter Sawyer

Assistant Director/Choreographer

Annetta Dexter Sawyer has taught for ArtStream off and on since its inception. She’s been a movement and voice coach, taught poetry, drama, and even yoga! Much of her teaching is with ArtStream community partner programs at Community Services for Autistic Adults and Children (CSAAC), the Forbush School, and The Treatment and Learning Centers (TLC). Previous ArtStream performance credits include Choreographer for the 2008 Silver Spring Inclusive Theatre Company musical Mission: Environment. She is proud to Assistant Direct the Cabaret.

Assistant Director/Choreographer

Vu Tran

Actor

Vu Tran is a 31-year-old actor from Syracuse, New York, currently living in Silver Spring. Vu has acted with ArtStream for two years. He has also performed in the Potomac Community Resources, Inc. chorus. Vu works at Safeway as a cashier and bagger. He also volunteers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He enjoys half-marathons, cross country, track & field, soccer, and R&B music. Vu has a black belt in Okinawan Goju-Ryu karate and is working toward fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) with the goal of being a sign-language interpreter.

Ana Bradley

Actor

Ana Bradley is a 29-year-old actor from Bethesda, MD. She has been acting with ArtStream for eight years. She also performed with Bethesda Academy of Performing arts (now Imagination Stage), Stages St. Louis, Metropolitan Ballet Theatre, and St. Louis Ballet School. Ana works as a Library Aid at Smithsonian Libraries. She likes to read, especially Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Montgomery.

Pamela Leighton-Bilik

Director, Summer Cabaret

Pamela Leighton-Bilik, a veteran educator (Drama, English, Chorus, Special Education), holds a B.A. magna cum laude from Ithaca College and an M.A. in Communication Arts and Theatre from The University of Maryland.  An international Gilbert and Sullivan director, Pamela is a founder and stage director of PB Theatricals Youth Theatre, which offers performance and technical theatre opportunities for young people in the U.K. This is Pamela’s first season with ArtStream.

Keith Tittermary

Music Director/Accompanist Winter Cabaret

Keith Tittermary has worked with ArtStream off and on since its very beginning! Prior to that he was a Music Director for Imagination Stage's Pegagus and Icarus companies and worked with Carol Gulley on Wings! As an actor, he was recently nominated for a WATCH Award for his role as Chef Louis in The Little Mermaid. He is a local conductor, pianist, and music director and is on faculty at the Levine School of Music.

Natalie researches, writes, and performs original historical theater pieces for Smithsonian’s Air and Space Museum, the National Archives, the International Spy Museum, and her own company, Historic Strolls. With Historic Strolls, she produces The Ghost Story Tour of Washington, DC’s longest running costumed/character-led tour and A Dickens of a Tour: Charles Dickens in Washington. With ArtStream, Natalie has worked as an assistant director and director with the Inclusive Theatre Companies, and has taught several classes. She is proud to direct Cabaret Company in its inaugural performance.

Leslie works out at Spirit Club, does adaptive yoga, and likes to play Christmas carols on the piano.

Carolyn Ricks is an educator, violinist, singer, and theater enthusiast from Alexandria, VA. She holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts with a minor in Jazz Studies from McDaniel College and an M.Ed. in Special Education from George Mason University. A former special education teacher with FCPS, she is currently an Infant Educator with the Infant & Toddler Connection of Fairfax-Falls Church.

Carolyn spent several years directing performances for the youth drama ministry at Oxon Hill UMC in Oxon Hill, MD. Among her directing credits there are Bones and Baggage Claim. She also developed a summer drama curriculum for Sky Education in Fairfax, VA. In addition to acting/directing with ArtStream, she recently played first violin in the pit for local performances of Sweeney Todd and Evita.

Patti is a Co-founder and the Founding Executive Director for ArtStream. She now serves as a Master Teacher and consultant for ArtStream. Patti wears several hats during the day. She currently teaches drama and directs for ETC and Theatre Lab and, as a Registered Drama Therapist (RDT), she works privately with clients. She also works as a professional organizer for Basic Organization. She loves being on stage again and is very thankful for everyone on the team with Arlington Company A!

Claire Alrich is a freelance dance artist, costume designer, and educator in Washington, DC. In addition to working with the lovely folks at ArtStream,  Claire is a dancer with darlingdance company, a teacher with Local Motion Project, and the Program and Outreach Manager for the National Fund for the U.S. Botanic Garden. Claire is also a 2017 recipient of an artist fellowship grant through the DC Council of the Arts and Humanities.

Mark is active in Special Olympics soccer and basketball.  Mark works at the Blossom Café in Oakton and on Saturdays he volunteers at the Arlington Central Library children’s room.  Watching classic movies is his favorite hobby, but he really enjoys traveling, going to the beach and eating in restaurants.

Retta made her professional debut last year in Keegan Theatre’s Helen Hayes nominated production of Parade (Essie, Mary u/s) and was recently in Wakefield High School’s production of In the Heights (Vanessa). Retta is a senior at Wakefield High School and will be majoring in performance in college.

Kerry started acting at Annandale HS and has been part of Arlington Inclusive Theatre Company A since 2009. Must Love Music is her ninth show with ArtStream. Kerry loves her job at Wildflour Catering & Bakery. She also enjoys singing, acting, and sports.

As an advocate, he has debated Ann Coulter, delivered a guest lecture at Duke University, been awarded the Quincy Jones Exceptional Advocacy Award; and will address the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland on March 15, 2018.

Greg works at Ike’s Cafeteria on the George Mason University campus. His hobbies include attending plays and movies, watching “Jeopardy,” and visiting museums and Renaissance fairs.

She loves sports and hiking, drawing and reading, and getting together with friends, her brother and sister, and other family members.

He works part time as a lifeguard and Spanish tutor. In his free time, Jon Paul enjoys volunteering and hanging out with friends and family. His favorite part about ArtStream is spending time with his uncle (Jonathan Frederick) and helping actors with their lines during the performance.

Mentor, "Reggie Raindrop/Billy" Jon Paul Frederick is a 17-year-old volunteer mentor from Fairfax, Virginia. This is his fourth year volunteering with ArtStream. Jon Paul is a junior at Centreville High School. He works part time as a lifeguard and Spanish tutor. In his free time, Jon Paul enjoys volunteering and hanging out with friends and family. His favorite part about ArtStream is spending time with his uncle (Jonathan Frederick) and helping actors with their lines during the performance.

He also loves spending time with his little nephew and niece.

Adrian Forsythe y Korzeniewicz is an actor from Hyattsville, MD. Adrian’s ambitions are to be an advocate for people with disabilities and to be an actor.  He graduated from the George Mason LIFE Program with concentrations in theater and communications, and appeared in plays, worked backstage, and joined student theater groups. Adrian is currently employed by National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), and has experience ranging from interning at the Smithsonian Institution with Project Search to a Congressional internship on Capitol Hill.  Adrian is a trained peer mentor with Project STIR. With ArtStream, Adrian participates in the Gaithersburg Inclusive Theater Company, leads communication and community workshops, and was client liaison on the Board of Directors. He also emceed the 2016 ArtStream Gala.

Adrian’s ambitions are to be an advocate for people with disabilities and to be an actor.  He graduated from the George Mason LIFE Program with concentrations in theater and communications, and appeared in plays, worked backstage, and joined student theater groups. Adrian is currently employed by National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), and has experience ranging from interning at the Smithsonian Institution with Project Search to a Congressional internship on Capitol Hill.  Adrian is a trained peer mentor with Project STIR. With ArtStream, Adrian participates in the Gaithersburg Inclusive Theater Company, leads communication and community workshops, and was client liaison on the Board of Directors. He also emceed the 2016 ArtStream Gala.

Pamela Leighton-Bilik, a veteran educator (Drama, English, Chorus, Special Education), holds a B.A. magna cum laude from Ithaca College and an M.A. in Communication Arts and Theatre from The University of Maryland.  An international Gilbert and Sullivan director, Pamela is a founder and stage director of PB Theatricals Youth Theatre, which offers performance and technical theatre opportunities for young people in the U.K. This is Pamela’s first season with ArtStream. Stefany has costumed Dido and Aeneas, Angels in America, Dracula, 1001, A Chorus Line, Pirates of Penzance, Lion King, James and the Giant Peach, Madagascar, and Once On This Island. She has also costumed several original works.  Stefany works as a freelance designer, serving several personal clients.

Manoj also performed in the Icarus Company with Imagination Stage (formerly Bethesda Academy of Performing Arts) and Malayalam dramas with Kerala Association of Greater Washington (KAGW).  Manoj has been a Special Olympian ever since Special Olympics was launched by Eunice Kennedy Shriver in her home's backyard in Potomac, MD. He participated in more than 20 competitive Special Olympics sports and won hundreds of medals for excellence. He previously worked for the Montgomery County Government and currently offers volunteer office support with the Arc Montgomery County, SEEC and other organizations. Manoj loves to learn and regularly attends courses at Montgomery College.

Terrel Limerick is an actor from Bethesda, MD. He has been acting with ArtStream since the very beginning - this is his 12th show! Terrel began acting at 15 years old with Imagination Stage (formerly Bethesda Academy of Performing Arts). He believes acting is a great goal to pursue! Terrel has worked at Special Olympics International in Washington DC for 15 years. He is currently a special assistant in the business department. In July 2015, at the Special Olympics World Games in Long Beach, CA, Terrel became a “World Champion.” He won a bronze medal for being the first sailor from the USA to sail a boat solo at the World Games. He is also on the Special Olympics Ski and Track and Field teams.

Actor, "Timothy" Terrel Limerick is an actor from Bethesda, MD. He has been acting with ArtStream since the very beginning - this is his 12th show! Terrel began acting at 15 years old with Imagination Stage (formerly Bethesda Academy of Performing Arts). He believes acting is a great goal to pursue! Terrel has worked at Special Olympics International in Washington DC for 15 years. He is currently a special assistant in the business department. In July 2015, at the Special Olympics World Games in Long Beach, CA, Terrel became a “World Champion.” He won a bronze medal for being the first sailor from the USA to sail a boat solo at the World Games. He is also on the Special Olympics Ski and Track and Field teams.

Cecelia Ann Pauley

She has been an actor with ArtStream for 12 years. Shannon's love of drama began Imagination Stage (formerly Bethesda Academy of Performing Arts) where she performed for 10 years. Shannon works as a child-care assistant at The Children in the Shoe Child Care in Bethesda, MD. She has been employed there for over 11 years. Some of Shannon's favorite activities include karaoke, dancing, Zumba, going to movies, and swimming. She also enjoys arts and crafts projects, photography, and scrapbooking. She loves to travel and spends time with her nieces and nephews.

Natalie is a writer, director and actor who has appeared on area stages for over 20 years. Natalie researches, writes, and performs original historical theater pieces for Smithsonian’s Air and Space Museum, the National Archives, the International Spy Museum, and her own company, Historic Strolls. With Historic Strolls, she produces The Ghost Story Tour of Washington, DC’s longest running costumed/character-led tour and A Dickens of a Tour: Charles Dickens in Washington. With ArtStream, Natalie has worked as an assistant director and director with the Inclusive Theatre Companies and Cabaret Company, and has taught several classes.
