Acting Techniques with ArtStream!
Inclusive Performing arts classes for adults will be offered Spring and Summer 2009. These classes will focus on improvisation, drama games, character work, movement and vocal techniques.

Description: Hone your acting skills and work on other theatre techniques. Actors who wish to audition for the Inclusive Theatre Company are strongly urged to attend.
Fall 2008 Adult Inclusive Theatre classes will be held September 9 - October 21, 2008 (no class Sept 30), at the Round House Theatre Education Center. Any interested actors are encouraged to audition for the Silver Spring Inclusive Theatre Company.

Private Lessons
ArtStream offers private lessons in Drama and Social Skills Building to our students of all abilities.
One of ArtStream’s experienced and highly qualified instructors will come to your home for one hour; for one-on-one, individualized lessons in building Advanced Acting Skills and their natural application to social situations.
All lessons are tailor-made to the individual student and their needs, interests and abilities.
Private Sessions in Movement and Body Awareness
Instructor: Patricia Krauss
Sessions will include yoga and deep stretching exercises designed to develop coordination, flexibility, strength and efficiency in moving. An emphasis on the "Head-Tail" connection helps engage the spine, allowing for more freedom and energy, with less discomfort. Sessions will include simple dance sequences in a variety of ethnic forms to develop rhythms and an awareness of music, as well as improvisation exercises to engage the brain and the imagination. All sessions individually tailored to the participant’s needs.
