Allies in the Arts at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC )

This bedside hospital program touches lives and has received national attention for bringing the creative arts to Wounded Warriors, their families and caregivers. ArtStream showcased the program at Arts in Healing for Warriors—a first of its kind national summit addressing the future of arts and medicine in the military—in October 2011.

Your contribution will help our artists spend more time with warriors, their families and caregivers. Making multiple connections with individuals strengthens the effectiveness of this program.

Creative for Life at The Specialty Hospital of Washington and Capitol Hill Nursing Center

This program gives creative outlets to older adults. During monthly sessions, participants' creativity and imaginations take them back to their shared history as they truly embody the arts and cultural history of Washington DC. This program has been honored to be included in the National Center for Creative Aging's Directory of Creative Aging Programs in America.

Your contribution will provide arts supplies and staffing for this thought provoking program and will ensure its future sustainability.

Inclusive Theatre Companies – Building a Foundation

ArtStream’s Inclusive Theatre Companies, filling with eager students, are located in Arlington, Silver Spring, Gaithersburg and Raleigh, NC!

In order to meet the incredible response from our community, ArtStream is planning a hands-on assistant training program. Your contribution will help us expand our professional-grade, inclusive theatre programming.
