Patti Green Roth
Patti Green Roth has taken Master Acting classes for teachers from The Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC (2009), and acted with The Soulfly Theatre Society in The Vagina Monologues (2009). Patti participated in a Body, Breath and Sound Workshop with Adrianna Hardy, resulting in staged reading performance of Richard Cory at Springfield Community Theatre (2008).
Patti is currently Coordinator and one of a team of judges for The McLean Community Players (MCP)s’ Washington Area Theatre Community Honors (WATCH) Program (2008-present). She was MCP’s associate producer for Mark Medoff’s Children of a Lesser God, at The McLean Community Center’s Alden Theatre (2007).
Patti co-founded Sundial Theatre Company (STC), Inc. (2003), produced STC’s premiere of Jeff Barker’s Kin: the trial of Carrie Buck (2007), and assistant directed/produced David Lindsay-Abaire’s Kimberly Akimbo for STC (2006), both at Alden. She acted in/produced Andrew Martineau’s The Dotted Line for STC (2003).
Patti worked at Adventure Theatre (AT) in Maryland (2003-2005), and with Temple Rodef Shalom (TRS) Players (2002-2003). Patti worked in Public Relations for Arlington’s Horizons Theatre and Leslie Jacobson, for their performances of Count Basil and That Takes Ovaries! (2003).
Patti has also had a career as a Federal disability policy analyst (1985-2002). She has worked on assistive technology, education, employment, health, housing, social security and transportation issues, in Washington, DC and Northern Virginia, for several trade associations with a focus on disability issues.
Patti has had a career as an educator of children and adults with and without disabilities in New York, California, Maryland and Virginia (1973-1983, and 2005-present).
