Jennifer Ridgway
Jennifer Ridgway is thrilled to be joining ArtStream! She recently received her MFA in directing/theatre for youth at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. During her tenure at UNCG, she taught drama in the classroom to undergraduate education majors and directed Degas’ Little Dancer by Wesley Middleton and Home on the Mornin’ Train by Kim Hines. In addition Ridgway worked with the Bonderman Playwriting for Youth National Workshop and Symposium at the Indiana Repertory Theatre in Indianapolis, and the Institute for Educators and the Collision Project at Alliance Theatre in Atlanta. Prior to entering graduate school, Ridgway worked with Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre Programs, the Smithsonian Institution’s Discovery Theatre, Imagination Stage, Interact Story Theatre and Arena Stage. She has executed positions in all areas of the creative process in numerous and diverse projects from administration to production from inspiration to performance from design to construction. Ridgway has been an Irene Ryan Semifinalist and a nominee for the prestigious Winifred Ward Scholarship. She received her BA in theatre performance from the University of Maryland, College Park.
